Priyathama...

Hey guys,

I am ready with a new song, after a long wait! :)

This song is basically a lullaby, but one with a romantic touch... ;)

Again, it's Chaitu (Chaitanya Deshpande) featuring with lyrics and rendition on this song! He has written some beautiful lyrics for the song, and sung them even more beautifully. In my opinion, this is his best performance till date. (Thanks a lot, bro, for adding so much value to the song!)

Also as usual, credit to Arun for his invaluable suggestions; can't do without them.

It is recommended to use ear/headphones for best quality! :)

Here are the lyrics for the song, along with translation in parentheses, for the benefit of all non-Telugu speaking folks... :)

Priyatama... Priyatama...
(Oh my Love... Oh my Love...)

Challani Vennelava...
(Are you the pleasant moonlight of my life?)

Priyatama... Priyatama...
(Oh my Love... Oh my Love...)

Manasuke Madhurimava...
(Are you the sweet honey of my heart?)

Naa Gundelo... nee chelimine, daachanila snehama...
(Your love will always be treasured in my heart...)

Naa Kanulatho... nee navvule, chudaalila, O priya...
(I would like to see you smile like this... always...)

First verse repeats...

Ee reyi lo... Madi O hayi lo...
(This night... in this joyful moment...)

Naa gunde pai, nidurinchu eevela...
(Come, rest on my bosom and sleep peacefully...)

Na gunde lo... O madhura ragam ila...
(A melodious tune will enter my heart...)

Palikenu ee velalo, neeke jola paatala...
(To sing you a sweet lullaby for you...)

Ika, na ee kaugitlo cheripo...
(Get in to my warm embrace now...)

Chanti paapala nidurapo...
(And sleep like a baby...)

Hayi kalalalo telipo...
(Float in the dreamland of joy...)

Madilo kalathanu marichipo...
(And forget all worries in your life...)

Udayakiranalu andaalu veliginchaga... Nee ee kallallo chudaali prathi vekuva...
(I would like to wake up to the sight of your beautiful eyes, as the sun brightens the day, every morning...)

Lines from the first verse repeat...

Hope you like it! :)

Regards,
Chiru
